you could be right, but it’s wise to take google’s suggestions … I would think if you have an opt-in form and your site gets manually reviewed w/o a privacy policy, you could get slapped.

Either way like you said, it only helps, so take the time and put it on there

mmm… not so sure about the privacy policy helping QS – haven’t seen any evidence on my sites or in any client work. Just anecdotal evidence (even some of Google’s other statements have contradicted).

That being said though, it’s great for conversion rates which is enough reason to add it.
