I've started in PPC and just like you, picked a weird offer to begin with (which turned out to be quite profitable: chicken coops!). However, after a few months I've decided to switch directions and now mainly do SEO. Anyway, I always enjoy reading how people started. This was very enjoyable. You do this for year on end and then one day in total disbelief find your adwords CTR off the roof, your daily budget dried up and see sales (way more than usual sales) when you log into your affiliate network site. You just sit there happy but don't exactly know how it happened.
