		<description>Social proof can be extremely helpful for validating your site, product, or even your own opinions (ie: I think this is great! Thanks Joe, me too!). It&#039;s also pretty easy to obtain, and worth testing to see if your conversions improve.</description>

		<description>I agree ... the more you understand marketing the more you can see the manipulation.  As for testimonials, if you ask the company itself, many times they will have testimonials you can use or they will let you use the ones on their site.  Nothing wrong with that ...</description>

I always use tag lines. But testimonials I&#039;ve never used because I just felt I was lying to my visitors. But the more AM we do, the more I realize, it&#039;s all marketing gimmicks.
