My name is Dave Martinez and I make a living online with pay per click advertising and affiliate programs.
The Beginning
I can remember back in 2005 stumbling on an article about this guy making decent money using google adwords and affiliate programs, it caught my attention to say the least. It wasn’t long after that I created my first Adwords campaign, it was something about developing your own lawn sprinkler systems. (Yes, anything and everything is sold today on the internet!)
There was nothing like getting that first sale. Of course, after a few days I was losing money and had to stop it … but from then on I knew there was something to this. The journey began! You can read more about my early days in the post How I got started in Affiliate Marketing.
Today
What started out as a hobby and “side-income” has turned into a full-time endeavor and now allows me to work from home. Partnering with different affiliate programs, keyword research, structuring pay per click campaigns, and crafting landing pages, are all to common for me.
While I wouldn’t call myself a heavyweight or an ‘expert’, I’ve learned a lot and just want to share some of my experiences on this site. My Hobbies
When I’m not working on my campaigns some of my hobbies include golf, chess, reading, church, blogging (it takes more time than you think), skiing, playing the markets, and when I have the opportunity traveling with my beautiful Korean wife Joy

My Faith
I am a Christian and will be open sometimes with my faith, but this blog will be mostly about pay per click and affiliate marketing. I would like to ask though, What is your purpose in life? I know there is lots of money to be made in the affiliate space and the potential is endless, but ultimately that will not make you happy. “What good is it to gain the whole world yet forfeit your soul?” Something to think about …
